DUCT CABLE (Metal Free)

APPLICATION
Duct burial inside H.D.P.E or cemented ducts, High-speed voice, Data and Video communications and Long haul Telecommunications. As metal free no requirement for ear thing and immune from lightening or fault currents.
MULTITUBE DESIGN
Tubes containing primary coated fibres stranded around a central strength member, filled with jelly, sheathed with P.E. and an optional nylon 12 jacket.
UNITUBE DESIGN
Loose tube containing fibres, strength members embedded in the sheath for protection against mechanical stresses and an optional nylon jacket.
PROOF CABLE
Loose tube containing fibres, strength members pultruded PE jacketed offering good mechanical, chemical, rodent, moisture resistance but more rigid then above constructions.
FEATURES
The nylon 12 jacket offer extremely low co-efficient of friction while pulling through ducts and termite resistance.
The unitube design has lightweight, small diameter and the required rigidity for pushing/pulling/blowing through ducts, yet offers lower minimum bending radius on amount of smaller diameters.
The weight & diameter of unitube design permit easy handling of longer lengths in the field.
MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
Greater flexibility, high compression resistance and stability over temperature range of
- 20°C to + 70°C.
In dry core design stability over temperature range of -40 deg. C to + 70 deg. C.
